Great Thursday!

We had a wonderful day with our friends.  We danced the hokey pokey, became superheros with capes, built ladder towers and of course served ice cream cones in the kitchen.

Classroom fun

We are still learning about the letter "B' and today made a fun bumblebee craft.  Look in the bookbag for this goodie!  We are working hard on learning our special Halloween songs, read a book on Dizzy the dinosaur, recorded our heights for the beginning of the year so you can see how much they've grown all during the school year and made folders to keep their artwork in at home.  We are doing a lot during the three hours we are at school!

Settling in

We are continuing to learn about the letter B and our classroom.  The playhouse is fun to play in, cars and pirate ships on the shelves are great to share with friends, the dress up bin has been discovered and the kitchen and baby dolls are always a hit. The sand table has been introduced and it's getting a lot of love too.

We had a few friends not feeling well this week, but we'll look forward to seeing them again next week.  Have a great weekend!

More birthdays and lots of fun!

Happy kids!

Our happy hive sure is buzzing!  The classroom is full of laughter, learning and starting to learn routine of each school day morning. The kids are getting adjusted to their learning environment and love playing with new toys each morning on the tables as soon as they walk in.
We celebrated another big TWO year old birthday friend, had fun playing in the kitchen and saying hello to our neighbors from the window of the playhouse.

First Week

Welcome to our Happy Hive - 

We had a very fun-filled week with our class! 
There was a lot of laughing, singing, learning, dancing AND sharing.

Your children especially enjoyed playing with puzzles, dinosaurs, cars
and baby dolls. We made cookies, cut slices of pizza and made crazy
concoctions in the play kitchen.

We had fun celebrating a birthday and enjoyed the delicious cookies,
thank you! We have two birthdays this week (or maybe the next
instead due to weather).

They loved playground time and were ready to see you at the end of
their preschool day.  Thank you for sharing your children with us!
