Thursday shenigans

They had a wonderful time building with the magnetic cubes today.  They made houses, buildings, pony stables and more.  Our classroom dinosaurs get played with every day and today was no exception. We made our cute St. Patrick's Day March calendar too.  The weather was beautiful to be outside and we ended the morning with a healthy snack of vanilla yogurt and blueberries,

Fun, Fun, Fun

Today was a rainy day so we had a lot of fun inside.  We popped popcorn for snack, got out play-doh and practiced rolling, cutting and making shapes out of it,  The magna tiles are always a hit and so is the new magnetic board - they must hacve lots of magnets at home!  The March placement was made by rolling marbles dipped in orange paint onto white shamrocks.

 

Donuts with Daddy

What a fun morning!  Thank you to all who came and made it special for your children.  They ate, showed their dads their favorite toy(s), read books and even cooked together in the kitchen.  The rest of the day was spent making cute alligators from popsicle sticks and pipe cleaners, reading a book about a friendly shark and playing outside.

Tuesday in the twos

Rain, Rain Go Away!  We were missing three friends today, hope all will be at school on Thursday for Donuts with Dad, We spent all morning inside but still had a lot of fun.  Ms. Anderson popped popcorn and Ms. Laura picked up some Paw Patrol cookies over the weekend for our snack today.  We made a fun surprise for the Dads and painted butterflies to decorate our soon-to-be Spring class bulletin board. We also spent time with stickers and putting magnets on the new board in the classroom, the kids loved!

Valentine's Day party

We had a small class again today and hope our friends are feeling better and will be back in full swing next week.  Today we just had a lot of fun in the classroom, made a surprise for Donuts with Dad, completed our Valentine's craft and enjoyed wonderful time on the playground.  Then we had our Valentine's Day party and called it a day!

Individual and Group play

Today only half of our friends were at school.  Hope those who were out are feeling better!  We focused on playing by ourselves and also sharing with a friend.  There are several new toys in the classroom that were discovered.  Outside time was wonderful and towards noon, several were getting sleepy.  It was a fun day!
