Wrapping up October

Today we painted our pumpkin bags, played with about every toy on the shelves, got in playground time before the rain started and ended the day with tiptoeing out of the room to carpool.
It was a great day!!

Another fun-filled Thursday

We introduced a new caterpiller puzzle to the mix.  The kids loved taking it apart, putting it back together again and watching the wheels spin. Outside time was especially great today since it was beautiful.  Thanks to our healthy snack, we found that strawberries are a huge hit with the class and many were asking for "more, please".

Pumpkin Patch

What a great warm morning we had at the pumpkin patch with our parents and grandparents!  Eating monster munch, singing songs and reading our favorite Halloween classroom book topped off the morning.  Then Ms. Kathleen came in the classroom for music and finally we ran off our energy on the playground.  We missed our friends who weren't there.

Getting used to our daily routine

We were busy today with stickers, leaf rubbing and the usual song singing, book reading, playground time and now we are learning how to line up when we travel outside to the playground and carpool.  It's a work in progress!

Busy, Busy, Busy

Today we built towers with pegs, talked about colors, had "lunch" in the kitchen, had multiple picnics with our friends, roared like dinosaurs and of course, spent quality time in the sandbox.

Another great day!!

We are movin' and groovin'! All are getting used to our routine mornings and rules in the classroom. We painted a Halloween craft (be sure to look in their book bag), made our October ghostly placemats and worked on fine motor skills with peeling off stickers and putting them on paper.  The classroom has ghosts, pumpkins and maybe a Frankenstein in it too - the kids love to point them out each morning. Picture day was a hit too!
