Valentine's Day party

We had a small class again today and hope our friends are feeling better and will be back in full swing next week.  Today we just had a lot of fun in the classroom, made a surprise for Donuts with Dad, completed our Valentine's craft and enjoyed wonderful time on the playground.  Then we had our Valentine's Day party and called it a day!

Individual and Group play

Today only half of our friends were at school.  Hope those who were out are feeling better!  We focused on playing by ourselves and also sharing with a friend.  There are several new toys in the classroom that were discovered.  Outside time was wonderful and towards noon, several were getting sleepy.  It was a fun day!

February Fun day

Today we practiced making cubes and 3-D triangles with our magnetic shapes, had races with all of our different cars, opened the sandbox and used manners asking friends to share the shovels, cups and toys that were in the sandbox.  We also made very cute invitations for Donuts with Daddy - be sure to check the book bag! We finished the morning with a little "ring around the rosie" and a healthy snack of cheese and crackers.  Have a great weekend!

Great Day!

We had a fun morning building, looking at books, measuring sand in cups and playing outside with our friends. Miss Kathleen read books to the class about frogs and we made our February place mat.  We also worked on a Valentine's gift for you!

Terrific Thursday

Several friends were out today, we sure did miss them!  The sand table was enjoyed by all - we measured sand, practiced putting it through funnels, scooped it into bowls and dug for buried cars. Also, the caterpillar puzzle was fun to use as we matched colors,  Before going outside, we made a winter hat for you and practiced our fine motor skills with putting decorations on it.  

Friends

Today we spent time sharing and taking turns with our friends.  A lot of the morning was spent in the kitchen playing, sharing the small cars at the table, helping others find playground toys they would like and we read several books and practiced our listening skills.
